Group therapy is very beneficial in the sense that participants get to listen and relate to others, and feel that they are not alone in what they are going through. For that reason, we started “The Empowerment Circleâ€, which was a series of group therapy sessions, guided by a certified psycho therapist. In these sessions, participants shared, released negative emotions and expressed themselves, within a safe and guided group setting. The program was held over a course of three months, with the group meeting every Monday.
